Fly’s pedigree is comprised of some of the top show and performance lines in the world.  She is by DC WTCH HTCH Kennelley’s Bandit out of ChX Tainsh New Dawn at BonniDune HSAs STDs.  I cannot thank Kelly Whiteman, of BonniDune, enough for entrusting me with this wonderful puppy.

 

Fly began to express her love for agility at a young age by constantly making up her own courses during our off leash obedience class.  She was a quick learner in everything that she did.  I had high hopes for her agility career.  Sadly she never had the opportunity to compete due to a neck injury.  We fought continuous lameness for several years before by chance we found a new chiropractor.  She worked magic and after one adjustment Fly was never lame again, but at that point we were concentrating on rally and I still didn’t feel comfortable having her run full height equipment.

 

Fly is the dog who began my love of behavior and training.  She taught me everything I know and made me the trainer I am today.  Despite some ups and downs we were a wonderful team that earned many placements and titles during our time together.  In addition to being my heart she gave me a beautiful litter of 5 boys.

 

Tragically, Fly was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma in February 2015.  Despite our best efforts she lost her battle 15 days post diagnosis.  I will never forget the journey that she took me on and she will forever be a part of my soul.
